Introduction

The Wireless LAN 802.11b VoIP Handset is an 802.11b wireless network IP handset, which provides 802.11b wireless connections with premium ID design. It offers the mobility advantage by the wireless voice communication through network connectivity within WLAN environment.

WiFi is a standard product that is approved as one of Wi-Fi VoIP product lines. That supports user-friendly interface and functional keypad features to enable user for increaseing their productivity & saving the cost through the current network.

This device featuring small size design, low power consumption and excellent Radio performance make it the best solution for OEM/ODM customers who require Wireless VoIP handset product line. For the Hardware features, Boradcom chipset solution is adopted. In additional to the classic radio performance of Broadcom solution, this handset also provides the possibility of upgrade from 802.11b to 802.11g to match office wireless network environment & provide maximum through put performance. The desired battery life is 5 hours talk time and 70 hours standby to support extended business phone time. In addition to WEP, WPA and TKIP are supported communication environment.

There is one indicator with one color LED to indicate the power status below: • RED Flashing : 2Hz for Battery is full charged when connecting external DC source • RED : Battery is in charging

• Number Key: 0~9, # and * keys. Some of the key has special function when pressing it with Function key simultaneously.

• Off Hook Key: Start the call

• On Hook Key: End the call / power on/off (Depress 3sec to turn off power, press once to turn on power)

RTC BACKUP

- A gold capacitor that can maintains the RTC timer at least 30 minutes after user removed the main battery.

Chap 5. Charging System

There is one charger on the system that can charge the Lithium main battery from DC input power. The charger current is 0.5A for a 1700mAhr battery pack so the main battery can be full charged within 4 hours from a full deleted cell.
