Wave Licenses

Vertical Wave IP SystemsVertical Wave systems use licenses to enable system functionality. These licenses are generated and delivered to you within 24 hours of your order, and are sent to you via e-mail. You simply “import” the attached license file into your Wave system (via the Global Administrator / Software Licenses applet) to activate. A breakdown of these licenses is as follows:

Wave System Licenses:

  • No system license is required for an IP 500 system.
  • With an IP 2500 system, one of three System Licenses is required: The “Standard” license which supports up to 50 users (this is provided at no charge with the purchase of an IP 2500 system), the “Professional” license which supports up to 200 users, and the “Enterprise” license which supports up to 500 users.

Wave User Licenses:

  • A user license is required for every individual user which you create on your system. This user license allows you to create the user in the system, and provides the PC ViewPoint and Mobile ViewPoint functionality to the user. User licenses are available in 5 packs and 10 packs.

 

 

 

Wave Contact Center Agent and Contact Center Reporter Licenses:

  • The Wave system provides two types of call queues – “ACD Workgroup” queuing, which provides basic call queue functionality such as the ability to ring a group of users top down, round-robin, or simultaneously. This is adequate for most smaller businesses. The “Contact Center Agent Licenses” provide advanced queue functionality, such as the ability to calculate estimated wait time, number of people ahead of a caller in a queue, agent skill levels, wrap up times, and more. This is typically used in a more advanced call center environment. The Contact Center Reporter is a bundle of pre-canned reports which are specific to the Contact Center Agent functionality. The Contact Center Agent and Reporter licenses can be added to your system at any time.

Wave SIP Trunk Services Provider Licenses:

  • A Wave SIP Trunk Services Provider license is required if you would like to use SIP Trunk functionality, such as a SIP carrier (Accessline, Broadvox, etc). The version you choose (Standard, Professional, or Enterprise) must match your Wave system license.

Wave IP Phone and IP Gateway Licenses:

  • A 3rd party IP phone license is required when you want to use a non-Vertical branded phone with your Wave system.
  • An IP Gateway license is required when a call traverses from an analog trunk or digital trunk (T1/E1/BRI/PRI) to VoIP device.
  • WaveNet allows you to network multiple Wave systems to function as a single large system. You can route calls between systems, see personal statuses of all users across all systems, and implement fault tolerance functionality.
  • Vertical provides extra system functionality via Wave Applications. These are enabled via a software package and license key installed on your Wave system. The applications available range from fax services to automated backup solutions.

WaveNet Licenses:

  • WaveNet allows you to network multiple Wave systems to function as a single large system. You can route calls between systems, see personal statuses of all users across all systems, and implement fault tolerance functionality.

 

Wave Application Licenses:

  • Vertical provides extra system functionality via Wave Applications. These are enabled via a software package and license key installed on your Wave system. The applications available range from fax services to automated backup solutions.
